Acer Predator G1-710-70001

The Acer Predator G1-710-70001 is a small, distinctive-looking gaming desktop that offers an excellent value for its price.

Front Panel

On the front panel you’ll find an SD card slot, a USB-C port, a USB 3.0 port, and headphone and microphone jacks. Hidden in the top-center section: an optical drive. The angled portions near the middle are lights that are configurable using the included PredatorSense software.

Interior

The Predator G1’s tightly designed interior makes it difficult to perform many upgrades.

Rear Panel

The selection of rear-panel ports is fairly ordinary, with the exception of the two jacks near the middle. These are for connecting the external AC adapters that are required to run the Predator G1.

Adapter Caddy

Acer includes this caddy for holding the two AD adapters the Predator G1 needs to turn on. It doesn’t look bad, but it’s a bulky addition for a gaming PC that’s supposed to be slim and convenient.

Keyboard

Also in the bundle with the Predator G1 tower is this mechanical keyboard, which has a configurable backlight and offers a nice blend of spring and click while typing.

Mouse

A fine, red-backlit gaming mouse is included with the Predator G1, too.
