which php.ini file is loaded?

Alot of us need to know the loaded php.ini file location to edit the content of it like upload_max_filesize or post_max_size or any other needed updates.

You can get the file location using

php -i | grep php.ini

Or you can create a file info.php in your www folder. Usually the folder is located in /var/www/html in linux as I know

Now paste the below code to it.

// Show all information, defaults to INFO_ALL

// Show just the module information.
// phpinfo(8) yields identical results.

now go to your web server from Firefox or Chrome (Ex: http://localhost/info.php or  http://yourdomain.com/info.php)

Then you can see the active php.ini file as below:

Now you know the location of the File …. Have fun.
